These terms govern access to Kenton County Busted Mugshots. By using the site, you agree to the rules and limits below. If you do not accept them, discontinue use.

Kenton County Busted Mugshots is privately owned and is not affiliated with Kenton County, KCDC, a sheriff, jail, police department, court, government body, or corrections agency. Neither this site nor its advertising partners offers a service covered by the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It is not a private investigation firm or consumer reporting agency, and its material cannot be used for credit, employment, insurance, tenant screening, or another FCRA-covered decision.

Nature of the Service

This private reference site stores no official booking, court, or custody records. It cannot confirm confinement, release anyone, post bond, or file a public-record request for a visitor. It organizes links and instructions for KCDC, the Kenton County Sheriff's Office, city police departments, Kentucky courts, the Kentucky Department of Corrections, and federal systems. Some pages also connect to third-party research tools.

Acceptable Use Rules

You agree to use the site responsibly and lawfully. In particular, you must not:

  • violate any applicable local, state, or federal law;
  • use information to stalk, harass, threaten, or harm another person;
  • base hiring, firing, housing, lending, insurance, or similar eligibility decisions on site content;
  • attempt access to systems or data without authorization;
  • deploy automated bots, scrapers, or bulk extraction tools; or
  • interfere with the site's security, availability, or use by others.

No Consumer Reports

This site is not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA. It supplies no background check, credit report, or consumer report. Its advertising and search partners do not provide screening services through this site. You agree not to use any content for:

  • an employment or termination decision;
  • tenant or housing screening;
  • creditworthiness, lending, or insurance pricing;
  • licensing, permits, or government-benefit eligibility; or
  • any other purpose regulated by the FCRA.

Links to Other Services

Links may point to JailTracker, sheriff and corrections pages, courts, federal locators, legal-help resources, news outlets, and commercial search providers. A link is not an endorsement. We do not control an outside site's accuracy, availability, security, privacy practices, or data handling. Review that provider's terms before using it.

Service Provided As Is

The site and all content are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties concerning:

  • the accuracy, completeness, or current state of any detail;
  • continuous or uninterrupted access;
  • the absence of bugs, errors, or security weaknesses; and
  • the scope or quality of results returned by a partner.

Custody and public records can change quickly. Nothing published here is an official statement from KCDC, the sheriff, a court, or another government agency.

Limits on Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kenton County Busted Mugshots and its operators will not be liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from access to, reliance on, or inability to use the site or a linked service.

Your Duty to Indemnify

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold the site and its operators harmless from claims, losses, costs, liabilities, and reasonable legal fees caused by your use of the site, your violation of these terms, or your infringement of another person's rights.

Ownership of Site Materials

Unless otherwise identified, the original text, graphics, logos, organization, and code belong to Kenton County Busted Mugshots or its content partners. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or commercially exploit those materials without prior written permission.

Changes to These Terms

We may revise these terms at any time. A new version becomes effective when posted. Continued use after publication means you accept the revised terms.

Access May Be Ended

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access at any time, for any lawful reason, and without advance notice.

Kentucky Law Applies

These terms are governed by Kentucky law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute must be brought in a court with jurisdiction in Kentucky. References to public-record access concern the Kentucky Open Records Act, KRS Chapter 61, but these terms do not interpret that law or provide legal advice.

Severability

If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect. The affected provision will be narrowed only as much as needed to make it enforceable.
